TERESA JOHNSON

In November, 1996, a Nashville songwriter – Daniel Johnson – took a trip to Rome, Italy to participate in a series of revival services at a small evangelical church. It was there where he met a “beautiful blonde with the voice of an angel” named Teresa Valeriani. After he returned to Nashville, they corresponded by phone and fax, communicating primarily through the “language of love.” Valeriani visited Johnson in Nashville in April, 1996, and during her visit, they decided to get married. .She returned to Nashville on October 15, 1997, and the couple were married on October 17, 1997. .After their marriage, Daniel “discovered” Teresa’s beautiful voice and powerful singing range. After prayerful consideration, the couple decided they had been brought together for a divine purpose and they began their music ministry which features Teresa’s expressive voice in 1998. Since that time, they have garnered several Christian music industry awards for their excellence in music and ministry. In addition, they have performed throughout the country on many notable stages, including the stages of The Texas Troubadour Theatre; the Grand Ole Opry House; and the Ryman Auditorium - all in Nashville.

WOOD NEWTON

Wood Newton is a legendary American singer/songwriter who lives and works in Nashville, Tennessee. Among his friends, he is also known as an avid golfer and “a jack of all trades.” He was born in Hampton, Arkansas, and graduated from Hampton High School in Hampton, Arkansas in 1964. He graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1970. He and his wife, Gloria, moved to Nashville in the early 1970s. In 1978 and 1979, Newton was signed by and recorded for Elektra Records, charting the singles "Last Exit for Love", "Lock, Stock & Barrel" and "Julie (Do I Ever Cross Your Mind?)". After his deal with Elektra ended, he went on to win numerous awards as a member of the Nashville songwriting community and has written numerous hit songs, including Kenny Rogers’ “Twenty Years Ago;” The Oak Ridge Boys’ “Bobbie Sue;” Razzy Bailey’s “Midnight Hauler;” Steve Wariner’s “What I Didn’t Do;” and David Ball’s “Riding With Private Malone.” Today, Newton performs numerous songwriter show throughout the country. WALKER

Melanie Walker is an award-winning Christian artist and one of the genre’s most visible and versatile performers. She is also one of the busiest. She currently serves as the host of the TCT Network’s show “Come On In.” As the host, she performs her music and welcomes and introduces other guest artists to the worldwide Christian network’s massive audience. Melanie is also an author and a conference speaker. In her long tenure with TCT, she has conducted many on-air teaching sessions in Biblical and Christian life applications. As a multi-award winning artist, Melanie is an ICM Living Legend recipient and a member of the International Country Gospel Music Hall of Fame. As a Christian recording artist, she has had several No. 1 radio hits, including “More Than Enough;” “I Wonder;” and “Here I Am.” No stranger to Nashville recording studios, she has worked with some of the top musicians in Music City and currently works with one of the top female producers - Grand Ole Opry star Mandy Barnett. Walker is current the Vic President of the Music City Christian Fellowship’s Board of Director and has served as co-producer of “Sundy Mornin’ Country” for the past several years. More important than all of her accolades and achievements, Melanie is a dedicated Christian who loves the Lord Jesus Christ and serves Him in everything she does. PETTEYS

Jared Petteys & The Headliners are a scorching live rockablilly and vintage rock-n-roll band based in Charleston, SC. The act is the musical child of Petteys and was birthed when he and his family moved to the coastal city after studying studio recording and engineering in Nashville. During his stint in Nashville, Petteys recorded his first rockabilly single “When She Walked Away.” The song become the first song written and recorded on Petteys’ first project, “I Ain’t Waitin’.” After moving to Charleston in 2018, Petteys began working with a variety of local musicians before settling on the act’s current members. The band quickly began to garner fan and industry acceptance and accolades, such as the Top Finalist in the worldwide songwritng competition “Rockabilly Rumble”; Gretsch Guitar’s Spotlight Artist Of The Month in 2021; and Best Local Band 2020 & 2022 nominations by the Charleston City Paper. Petteys is a powerhouse vocalist behind a microphone and a monstrous guitar player - mixing country, blues, and rock-n-roll licks with a punk attitude. He is supported by a rock solid rhythm section backed by upright bass player and slapping machine madman “Mr. Palmer On Bass” and the charismatic and explosive drumming of Tommy Tipton. The group’s songwriting capabilities and lyrical depth boasts an eclectic array of inspiration and relatability. Ultimately, they are a band on a honorable musical mission: To save American roots rock-n-roll music and deliver it to the next generation.
UR1 is the award-winning Contemporary Christian band based in Nashville, TN, that was founded by the group’s lead singer/guitarist - Roger Revette. In 2016, the band was chosen from over 100 national acts as the only performer at the National Christian Expo in Louisville, KY, and have performed at fairs, festivals and on stages throughout the country. In addition to their live stage show, they have released several singles to CC Radio and had a Top 5 CHR single hit with their song “Forever” which received airplay throughout the U.S. and in Europe.
